Welcome to the Maddy Ker Forever 16 Giving Foundation
Maddy's Foundation has been created to help bring people together to be better.
Maddy was a vibrant, energetic 16 year old who loved life. She was very active in school sports such as tennis, basketball, volleyball, flag football, and ultimate frisbee and was a member of the A.N. Myer Athletic Council. Outside of school, Maddy played volleyball on the Smash Raiders U17 Cyclones team as a setter.
Maddy was an avid reader and would read almost anything! She also loved animals and would have had a farm in her backyard if it was possible! She lived with her mom and her four cats; Scarebear, Kitten, Floyd, and Honey.
Maddy was tragically killed in a car accident on January 27, 2025. She is deeply missed by her family and friends. Maddy had so much more to offer the world, it really wasn't her time to go. We would like to keep Maddy's memory and spirit alive by doing the kinds of things that she herself would have done for people (and animals) every day.
Keeping Madelyn's Memory Alive
Our Goal
Our goal is to make a positive impact on the community and support those in need. Madelyn loved sports, animals, reading, and people. We want to help support these causes in Madelyn's name.
The Giving Foundation
The Foundation will help people, with a focus on children and young adults, to cover expenses for sports, school, and other recreational activities. We will be supporting animal initiatives as well. Donors will be able to donate in two ways:
1) Through the Maddy Ker Personal Gifting Foundation account, which will allow us to help individual causes ( such as registration for activities, costs incurred to join a recreational activity, animal care). This fund is more discretionary and can fill immediate needs in honour of Madelyn and her zest for being involved.

2) If you prefer to receive a tax receipt, you can donate through the Niagara Community Foundation (Maddy Ker Fund) which allows us to donate yearly to registered charities only.
